Emanuel's Surgery
This is Emanuel. He was disabled from the knees down, but thanks to prosthetics, he was able to walk on his own. His prosthetics have rusted, infecting his knees and taking away his ability to walk. He asks for your help to pay for his surgery.
But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"—he said to the man who was paralyzed—"I say to you, "rise, pick up your bed and go home." And immediately he rose up before them and picked up what he had been lying on and went home, glorifying God.
Emanuel was disabled from the knees down, but thanks to prosthetics, he was able to walk on his own.
Overtime, his prosthetics have rusted, and now he suffers from a prosthetic joint infection, and extreme discomfort.
He saves all the money he can to pay for his surgery, but he is at the risk of dying if we are unable to treat him soon.
His surgery will cost around $350 (150,000 Naira), and his hospital bills are expected to reach around $1,000 because of post-surgery care.
Goals
We aim to raise at least $350 to send him to the hospital immediately. W
e can then raise the additional $650 over time and send money to him as it comes in.
This is dangerous, as they may not provide post-surgery aid if we do not have the money by then. Because of this, we prefer to raise around $1000 before sending it to him.
Completion Notes
We are blessed to have been able to bless Emanuel with new life. We pray that this is only the beginning of CrossoverGlobal, and we will keep on fulfilling our mission- to bring aid to those who need it most.
Impact
We have reached our first primary goal (Raise surgery money)! We have paid for his surgery, and will begin surgery when the hospital gives us a date. At the time that these images were uploaded, we were $386 short of our goal. But because we were able to exchange our dollars for Naira at a higher rate, we were able to cover the rest of the surgery cost with only $614. We thank God for this miracle.
